Crossing the Bridge

SONY DSCThis bridge crosses over the Mississippi River between Minnesota and Wisconsin at La Crosse, WI.  The above photo was taken during a very rainy day, looking up while crossing the bridge.

SONY DSC This was on the approach to the bridge.

SONY DSC This was also while on the bridge closer to exiting.

SONY DSC This is the bridge taken from off to one side.

image This was taken from a distance. The arch that appears at the center of the bridge is actually a different bridge that is right next to it.

By the way, here is what you see when you look up on the bridge next to it.

  2. Very cool black and white shots! It reminds me of a bridge that we used to cross all the time in Memphis.

  10. Great sequence of shots of the bridge. I like the way the close-up of the first shots almost ended up looking like lace. It's also interesting that a second bridge is visible in the later shots.
