Color Me Minnesota

True Colors Thursday is celebrating the color ‘snow white’. This is certainly a color that Minnesota is draped in for several months out of the year. So I have absolutely no problem with coming up with photos of this color here in Minnesota this time of year!

Above is one of my favorite photos and it has appeared on this blog earlier. Ice and snow covered trees in our backyard.

Renner loves to run and play in the snow. Scooter, absent in this photo, not so thrilled with the snow.

The photo above and below is the road that runs passed our house, our mailbox on the left of the above photo.

This is our road looking in the opposite direction.

This would be a photo of our driveway and house, unfortunately it is being taken through a slushed up, dirty windshield.

Beebe

Cream is True Colors Thursday color of the week. Our lovely Beebe is gone but most certainly not forgotten. She was a lovely Cream colored retired racing Greyhound that was such a beautiful girl.

She came home with me one day at the age of 9 and had a good many medical issues. Beebe stayed with us until she passed away at the age of 13. I don’t often see too many greyhounds the light Cream color of this little sweetheart.

A Little Lapis Lazuli!

Bright Blue is the order of the day for True Colors Thursday! And here we see a little construction being done in a Bright Blue sandbox while wearing a Bright Blue shirt…playing with a Bright Blue hippo-sand scooper. (whew…)

Green Day

True Colors Thursday is a Green day!

Green leaves, now absent from my garden, were abundant a few weeks ago.

Greyhounds lounging in the Green grass outside will have to wait until the winter passes and spring comes again.

Though the Green leaves have left us there are still fuzzy Green rocks scattered around Beaver Creek Valley State Park, MN. Eventually even the Green mossy rocks will give way to a white coat of winter snow.
