Black & White

SONY DSC Scooter is our black and white retired racing greyhound. He has just had his 6th Birthday on March 23rd. His racing name was Tyville Scoop.

PICT0016scooterreduced He is rather on the large side for a greyhound weighing in at well over 80 pounds.  Not the best of racers and was retired when he was two years old. He was in a couple of homes before ours, which didn’t work out for him. However, he fit in perfectly here from day one.SONY DSCHis favorite thing to do is ….snooze, and listen at the same time, he doesn’t like to miss anything. :)

This is a black and white handmade music box doll. I used to collect one or two of these each time I went to the Ren Fest in Shakopee, MN.

This is the black and white inside of a birthday card given my OH for his last birthday a couple of weeks ago, which I found humorous.

Yes it was Black & White week for True Colors Thursday hosted by Blue. For more great photos of Black & White things check out True Colors Thursday. Thanks Blue!

Crimson

Crimson is a strong, bright, deep red color combined with some blue, resulting in a tiny degree of purple.

more scarlet daylilies cropped

Crimson Daylilies from my garden last summer. Looking forward to their blooming again this year!

Screaming Monkey Arms are *almost* crimson…or maybe not – still  it’s a cute photo of Ruby.

A crimson teddy bear hanging out with a couple of Furbys. “ahhtt, ahhtt Dance, Dance….” (That is Furby speak.)

What Alice in Wonderland Character Are You?

You Are the Mad Hatter

You are zany, kooky, and frankly, a little crazy. Others suspect that you're not all there.
Crazy or not, you know how to have a good time. You are passionate about the things and people you love.
You are emotional, over the top, and unpredictable. People can't help but love you, even if they're a little scared of you.
You are impulsive and driven by your gut reactions. You have no problem saying what you think or feeling how you feel.

What Alice In Wonderland Character Are You?

I took the quiz on Thom’s blog, Thom's Place 4 Well Whatever… and thought it was fun…maybe you will too!

Science

The Science Museum of Minnesota is in St. Paul.

There is a nearly endless amount of things to do there. Here we were playing with light, shadows and color.

Someone wanted the light to be just yellow. (yep that’d be our Grandson)

Experimenting with light reflections on different materials.

Lots of hands on exhibits for all to enjoy.

And so much more….

The place is filled with with wonderful things for all to see.
