While at the Minneapolis Home Show I found this jack and thinking back to when I was young and used to play ball and jacks, I had to wonder with a jack this size how big the ball would be!

I remember playing jacks with my cousins. What a neat reminder about years gone by. I hadn't thought of jacks in forever.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool! I used to play that one on my elementary days... thanks for making me remember the past...
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh - thank you!
ReplyDeleteI used to play jacks too, and five stones - ah, the simple pleasures of life!
i loved playing Jacks - but I'm certainly not attempting to play with anything that size! Never mind the size of the ball - what size hand would you need???
ReplyDeleteNice juxtaposition of photos.
Oh, jacks! Yes, I loved playing jacks. I also played Chinese jacks. I'm not sure if anyone ever played that. Anyway, fun pictures. I like how you did them in b & w.
ReplyDeleteThat is wild. I've never seen a jack that big. It would take a basketball for that one.
ReplyDeleteNo kidding..takes me back! This image is a fantastic capture of those moments!
ReplyDeleteVery funny. We, my son and I, were watching Jack and the Beanstalk this morning. This reminded me of the giant! Laura
ReplyDeleteOh wow...that takes me back too. I remember trying to play jacks. I was never good at it :)
ReplyDeleteI was never that good at jacks, but wowzers, that would be a full body contact sport if you played with jacks that size!
ReplyDeleteHA! Now that's the biggest Jack I have ever seen!!! Scary!
