ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comments and for visiting. I am so glad you enjoyed the 'Face' photo of Renner. This post represents a couple of firsts for me. It is the first sepia I've done of one of my Greyhounds. Also yes....my world is very deep in retired racing Greyhound history.
This is also the very first time I have felt moved to begin a meme.
It will be an adventure to be sure and I hope many of you will explore 'faces' with me. There are so many faces of every shape and form, I know I can't possibly do justice to them all alone.

ReplyDeleteI do agree with you about faces. As you know, it was Sid's sweet face that hooked me in those first few seconds of our meeting. How can you not look into the eyes of a sweet hound and know their personality? I always say we've been very lucky in our choice of dogs but maybe it's that we notice the personality in their eyes and make subconscious choices?
What a great picture. He/she? looks so sad though.

ReplyDeleteHi Jay, yes I do remember how Sid hooked you and then reeled you right in! I really believe that the greyhound's eyes are so very soulful. I think you are onto something where their eyes affect our subconscious choice...I know, at least for it this is true!
