Goldfinch

American Goldfinch

American Goldfinch are commonly seen around our birdfeeder. Overwinter they lose their bright canary yellow color and regain their gorgeous coloring in the spring.

This Thursday’s color is ‘canary yellow' according to True Color Thursday. Visit Blue’s ‘My True Colors’ for more ‘canary yellow' from around the world.

  5. Your goldfinches are quite a lot different to ours. But I'm going to get some thistle seed this winter and see if I can't entice some English goldfinches to our feeder! Maybe I'll get some pics as good as yours! :)
