Photo from downtown Caledonia, Minnesota. I see the mail carrier in route…must be a Saturday! Though Caledonia is considered the Wild Turkey Capitol, no Wild Turkeys were seen during this trip.
Right now I think my neighborhood should take over Caledonia’s claim to fame as we have about 30 wild turkeys that hang out on my property daily.

Hi Sistertex. I love the old buildings in the reflection. I don't think I ever seen a wild turkey before except in the liquer store. :)
ReplyDeleteNice reflection of Caledonia. Caledonia is the old Latin name for Scotland, but I must admit that it makes me think of B.B. King...
ReplyDeleteThe old brickwork is nice. The wild turkeys knocked my mother's bird feeder down. Think they better hide for a few weeks. At least until after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteNice view and reflection of the buildings on the other side of the street.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend! :)
The first thing I thought of when I saw the words "wild turkey" was booze, hee hee, and I don't drink. I like this reflection and the brick building.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, your banner shot is great!!
Vicki
I have only had turkeys in my yard once..I love them...Lovely reflection...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflection of the buildings, and so wonderful to see wild turkeys too!
ReplyDeleteNot a good month for a turkey! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections, like the sky seen in between those buildings.
ReplyDeleteYou have wild turkeys? We don't have wild turkeys!! Actually, that's not quite true, because there's someone in the village who keeps buying them at Christmas to save them from the chop, and we sometimes see them wandering about all over the road in front of her place. But wild? Nah, I think they're quite happy! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love those photos! So, thinking of wild turkey for dinner?
ReplyDeleteLove these shots. The dark clouds reflected in the window are great. Kathy
