Peaches was a foster retired racing Greyhound that we had back in the ‘early days’ of our work in Retired Racing Greyhound rescue. I love the way she tried to talk to us. Here she was trying to talk Cosy (one of our greyhounds) out of the bone she was chewing. Peaches had a lot to say and had a unique way of speaking. Yep – that’s me laughing in the background and my OH is the other voice talking to her.
Funny. When I read "My favorite foster" as the title I immediately thought of Peaches :-) I didn't actually expect to be right though!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I love it! I'm surprised you didn't keep her around just for entertainment purposes!
ReplyDeleteWe loved her too, however we had 9 greyhounds living with us already and Peaches had a far too strong of a liking for cats. We ended up adopting her out to a *catless* family in Canada. She was quite the doll though!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! It certainly caught the attention of our dogs who started 'talking back.' Thank you for sharing.
