Just caught these three items at the grocery store and have only tried the Cinnamon so far. Yummy, I ate them dry as a treat. Very good! I have yet to try the Chocolate and Honey Nut but must applaud General Mills once again for continuing to expand their mainstream cereal gluten free line. THANK YOU!
General Mills Rice Chex® - Now Gluten-Free!
You can check out the above article if you like to get a little more information. It also holds a link to information from General Mills.
Another HUGE surprise is:
Introducing Betty Crocker Gluten Free Baking Mixes
Yep, Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Devil’s Food Cake and Yellow Cake! Betty Crocker is also a General Mills product line. General Mills you Rock!
I have just gotten the Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix to try out and my plan is to make up a batch today. I will let you know how it goes. I am anticipating a YUMMY treat!
I hope that the cookies turn out good! It would be wonderful to have a well-known store brand that makes a good mix. I know GM has a great R&D dept. so they should be able to do a good job :-)
ReplyDeleteNow you've got me craving some dry cereal snax.... that cinnamon one looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteHi Ophelia99,
ReplyDeleteCookies will need another go, I think I will have to use 'real butter' and in the correct amount. Margerine may have made them crumbly, but they taste good.
Hi Maureen,
I'm a little slow in getting back to people, so sorry! I have to tell you though I think the Cinnamon one is my favorite.
