ABC Wednesday ‘Y’

This week’s ABC Wednesday Letter is ‘Y’

Yield.

An old Yellow Yield sign found in the United States.

The current Yield sign used in the United States.

Yield sign used in most of Canada and Europe

Yield sign used in UK.

Yawn… Yield signs are kind of boring.

    Mr. Nighttime:
Always good to hear from you! I can't remember the last time I saw one of those on the road. That photo was taken in Vermont. Thanks!

    Marie Reed:
Yes, they just slowly dissappeared being replaced by the more 'international' red and white version. Thanks for visiting Marie!

I love how you sneaked a greyhound in there! And a youngster with a yellow toy! LOL!

    Hi Maureen,
    Thank you!

    Hi Jay,
I missed Youngster with a Yellow toy! You are on top of it! I try to sneak in a hound in most of my posts, just for fun. Besides they never get tired of hearing compliments. I pass them all on to them. ;) Thanks Jay.

    Hi Roger,
Thanks for visiting. I have to agree with you. I think a lot of people are confused about what exactly those Yield signs mean.
