The sky this morning was ‘giving warning’ of an impending winter storm headed our way later this afternoon. (“Red sky in morning, Sailors take warning!”)
Time of this photo the temperature was a chilling 2 degrees Fahrenheit. While taking this photo I was being watched carefully….
There was another little white-tailed deer just left of the tree in the photo but I didn’t see it until I was going inside. The second one didn’t even get up from her resting spot. I also spooked a beautiful red fox who took off from just a few feet from where I stood. One of these days I will get a photo of that beautiful little creature. We keep startling each other as I never know when I will run into the little guy.
Back to the snow, they are talking about up to 7 inches of the white stuff falling this afternoon on into tomorrow (Saturday) morning. I guess we shall see.
Renner: “Oh bother…Mom is taking photos of me in the early morning light again.”
“Go back outside Mom, I’m trying to sleep!”
“Sigh, I wish she’d lose the camera.”
Lemme: “What camera…what Mom?”
“I’m feeling a little large today and think you should use a wide angle lens to capture all this beauty!”

ReplyDeleteWonderful images, all of them...the sky is so pink and wintery! Your dog and cat are quite the "models!" Even if they weren't in the mood for paparazzi!

ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you were from MN too! I just stopped by on the blog hop and discovered your wonderful photos. Have to say the first one is awesome. We had a good amount of snow here in Eagan too. Daisy and Jasper loved it! Hope Renner got to enjoy some of it too!
