This is a mirror the swim instructors holds above a child when teaching them the back stroke. It was laying beside the pool during during the lesson while doing other activities.

I've never seen a mirror used before...how interesting, and a great photo op for you! Very colorful too!
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting photo. The colours look so well coordinated. I'm curious as to why there's a mirror at the pool.
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn and EG - thanks for visiting and for the comments. EG the use of the mirror was listed right below the photo.
ReplyDeleteI do believe, due to it being a young children's swim class the mirror was held above the head for the child to look up into - seeing him or herself, to keep their faces up out of the water while floating on their back. Nope I had not see that used before either, at least not that I recall. But it seems to work for them.
Thanks again!
Very cool shot! I learned to swim when I was about his age. A little scary at first then nothing but fun. :)
ReplyDeleteThe burned edges is actually a vignetting effect from Picnik.com.
I love this picture, so colorful, creative and fun!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
