These are both beautiful photos. That one of the splash is so gorgeous. I just love it. Both of them actually. Well done :) Thanks for putting my link up in FOTW :) Have a great day ;)
ReplyDeletehow many shots did it take to get that splash just right?
ReplyDeletePerfect! Yes, the feel of summer is almost tangible in that top photo. A cute little guy an a happy grehound...doesn't get much better than that!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Love seeing boys and their dogs at play. Great timing and capture of the splash.
ReplyDelete~ Tracy
Those are both great! That's a greyhound for you, just back far enough from the water's edge to avoid possible melting!
ReplyDeleteWonderful images. I love the shot with the dog.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your feature today. VERY NICELY DONE.

ReplyDeleteYes! Summer is on its way! What adorable photos to anticipate the warmer days of summer!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos ... how did you ever get the splash?
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, don't think I have the patience to wait for a photo that perfect. How many takes?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteMama Bear
I think I will throw a rock. Yeah, that's a good splash.
ReplyDeleteThat appears to be a dog with his best friend testing the waters as a team - an inseparable pair! Big Stony is about 3.5 hours from the MSP airport, 5 miles east of Park Rapids and about 1/2 hour from Itasca. I was there decades ago, and Itasca is beautiful - with the biggest mosquitos anywhere! Those insects are truly the MN state bird...
ReplyDeletegreat job! love the water splash but the boy and dog are precious
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures.....Looks like a nice way to spend an afternoon...
ReplyDeleteWell, It Sure Looks Like Summer Is Coming Fast. It's Not Summer Here Until June 2oth, And The Kids Are Not Out Of School Till A Week After That. (But They Don't Go Back Till After Labour Day.)
ReplyDeleteI love the water shot. You captured it beautifully.
ReplyDeletegreat photos :) looks like a fun day!
