Smiling Building At Sunset

Every time I pass this building it seems to be smiling at me. ;) This used to be the Federal Reserve Bank building in Minneapolis, MN. It is now known as Marquette Plaza.

 

The Federal Reserve Bank moved into a new structure about 2 blocks away from this one in 1997.

A Hole In The Sky

Taken Easter 2010 weekend as angry clouds quickly moved in over a park in Blaine, MN. For just a few moments the sun fought to regain its visual grandeur through a small hole, lost the battle and was quickly hidden again.

Global Market

Last February we started our day by going to see the ‘Midtown Global Market’. It was very early on a Sunday morning and not all of the shops had opened nor was it very populated.

This Global Market is now inside a huge building that used to be the downtown ‘Sears’ building.

It is an eclectic mix of…well you name it. Art, bakery goods, clothing items, candy, toys from all different countries.

 

Apparently you can even find little Vikings there. :)

Family Circles

 

While standing in my youngest daughter’s apartment with family members I felt a sudden fascination with a grouping of decorative mirrors she had on a wall. Photos taken from slightly different angles in the room caught different people in the room and gave the mirrors different light.

For The Family – Check This Belly Laugh

Never seen a 3 year old so happy about a flower show. ;)

My grandson turns the room into a party by just walking in. Granted not the best quality of photos. But what it lacks in quality it makes up for in smiles. The child knows how to have fun in any setting, this one happened to be a low light setting and I didn’t want to use a flash. I love the photo regardless.

Tumultuous Sky

This photo was taken in Tennessee while passing through. It spawned several tornados. One of which we actually got caught up in, in our RV. Was a very scary portion of our March 28, 2009 trip. Eerily beautiful.
